Switched to a new clipper blade oil after 12 years and instantly regretted it

Grabbed a different brand on a whim at the supply shop Tuesday and my Andis Master started binding halfway through a skin fade, had to stop everything, clean it out, and run back for my old standby - anyone else stick to one oil brand no matter what?

Yeah "not worth the headache mid-cut" is the understatement of the year.

That happened to me with machine oil once. Read somewhere that different oils have different viscosity levels and that can mess with the blade tension. I just stick with the one that works now, not worth the headache mid-cut.
