Heard a client in my chair call a classic taper 'basic' and it got me thinking

Wait a basic taper? That's a wild thing to say lol. A clean taper is literally the foundation of so many good cuts, it's not basic it's essential. Calling that basic is like calling a good pair of jeans basic, yeah maybe but you still need them. Some people just want to be different so bad.

Honestly who cares what one random person calls it? It's just a haircut, not some deep statement. People throw around words like "basic" for everything these days, it doesn't mean anything. Getting worked up over a client's silly comment seems like a waste of energy.
