Vent: My bank's new app update locked me out for two days
Last Thursday, I got a push to update my banking app on my phone... I did it, and then it just wouldn't accept my password or my fingerprint. Called support, and the guy said it was a 'known issue' with the latest version. They had to send a reset link to my email, which took over 24 hours to arrive. Has anyone else had their digital access just break after a simple update?

Tell me about it, my credit union's app did the same thing last month. Updated it on a Friday and spent the whole weekend locked out, couldn't pay a bill. Their support line just had a recording saying they were "aware of the problem" lol. Felt like they pushed an update without testing it at all.

Oh my god, a whole weekend?! That's actually terrible, especially with a bill payment hanging over you. The "aware of the problem" recording is just the final insult, like they gave up before the weekend even started. I'd be so mad!
