Random stat I found: 70% of small business fraud is internal, not external hackers
I was reading that FDIC small business report last night and it blew my mind that most payment fraud comes from employees, not outsiders, has anyone else seen this or dealt with it at their own company?

Not sure I buy that stat without more context. Most small businesses don't have enough employees to make internal fraud a bigger threat than a random phishing email or a stolen password. I've seen way more damage from a CEO clicking on a fake invoice link than from a disgruntled worker cooking the books. Internal fraud happens, sure, but small shops don't have the scale or access that big companies do for someone to pull off real damage.

Yeah phishing is way more common to actually hit a small biz.
