Heads up: That 'instant' bank transfer app might not be as instant as you think

I run a small pressure washing biz on the side and been using one of those newer payment apps that promises instant transfers to your bank account. Last Friday I sent a $480 payment from a customer straight through and it said 'completed' on their end. But my bank account didnt see a penny for 3 full business days. Called support and they said 'instant' just means the transaction shows up on your activity but the actual settlement still takes the normal ACH time. Checked the fine print after that and yep buried in the terms. Wasted 2 hours on hold trying to get a refund for a late fee on a bill i couldnt pay. Anyone else get burned by this 'instant' nonsense? What app actually delivers real instant?

Wait you mean "instant" is just a suggestion and not a promise? Shocking. Next you're gonna tell me "unlimited" data plans have a cap or "free" trials need a credit card.
