A guy at the garden center told me my tomato leaves were curling because of drafts, not bugs
I had been spraying my balcony tomatoes with neem oil almost daily for about 3 weeks because the leaves kept curling up and I was sure it was some kind of pest. The guy at the garden center on 5th Street took one look at my phone photos and said the leaves were canoeing from cold wind coming off the glass, not bugs at all. I felt pretty silly but I moved the pots about two feet closer to the wall and set up a cheap bamboo screen on the windy side for $14. Within 10 days the new growth came in flat and my Roma plant put out 9 new flowers. I stopped the neem spraying completely and just check the undersides once a week now. So if your leaves curl up at night and flatten out by noon, it might be wind and not aphids like I thought. Has anyone else dealt with leaf curl that turned out to be something totally different from what you guessed?
