Blew $60 on a fancy cake pan that totally let me down

I bought this really nice Nordic Ware bundt pan last month thinking it would make my cakes look pro. First time using it, I greased and floured it just like the instructions said, and the cake still stuck like crazy. Spent 45 minutes trying to get it out in one piece and ended up with a crumbled mess. Has anyone else had bad luck with those nonstick coated pans or is it just me?

Try butter and a heavy dusting of granulated sugar instead of flour.

Is this really some kind of game changer though paigec14? Butter and sugar instead of flour seems like a mess waiting to happen in the pan.
