PSA: my neighbor called out my feeder placement, now nobody gets sick

I had my feeder right under the coop overhang for three years, thought it was fine. My neighbor who keeps show birds told me that's why I was dealing with constant coccidia issues, droppings were landing right in the feed. Moved it 15 feet out into the open with a simple PVC stand and added a rain guard, all in one weekend. Has anyone else had a vet or fellow keeper point out a setup flaw you never questioned?
