Just realized my raised bed was draining right onto the neighbor's fence post, so I tore out 10 feet of it Saturday

Didn't notice until the post started rotting out at the base, so I dug a gravel trench and sloped the bed away from the property line. Anybody got a better fix for water running sideways on a slope, or am I stuck redoing this every spring?
