Ran into a guy on the trail in the Wind River Range who changed my route plan
He was coming down from Titcomb Basin and told me the snowfield on the pass was 'just a sketchy patch of ice, not a real problem.' I took his word for it and had to turn around halfway up. Anyone else gotten bad beta from a passing hiker?
