Dropped $2,400 on a review platform for my IT consulting biz, got 3 fake leads and a bot call
Signed up for a 6 month contract with a B2B review site back in February because their sales guy swore I'd get 15 qualified leads a month in the Denver market. What I actually got was 3 leads, two of which were other vendors trying to sell me stuff, plus a bot that called me 14 times in one week. When I asked for the lead quality report they kept promising, I got a PDF full of screenshots and zero phone numbers I could verify. Canceling early cost me another $600 in fees buried in page 9 of the contract. Anyone else get burned by these pay to play review sites, or did I just pick a bad one?
