Vent: Spent 8 hours chasing a phantom comms fault on a G1000 install

Turned out to be a single pin in a D-sub connector that wasn't fully seated from the factory. Anyone else had a 'perfect' new part cause a massive headache?

Right? Makes you wonder how many "bad" parts are actually just defective from the start.
