The amount of people who skip bond testing on antenna installs is getting dangerous

I've been in avionics for 22 years now, and I keep seeing guys throw up a new comm antenna without ever checking the bond resistance. Last month I had to redo a job where the reading was 8 milliohms when it should be under 2.5. That kind of slop can cause static bursts and even feedback into the ship's electrical system. It takes maybe 10 minutes with a good micro-ohmmeter, so why would you skip it? Am I the only one who still makes bond check part of every antenna swap?

Is it really that hard to grab a micro-ohmmeter and do a quick check before buttoning everything up? Saves way more time than coming back to troubleshoot a noisy radio later.
