Rant: had an LRU swap go sideways on a ramp in Wichita at 2am
I was out on the ramp in Wichita at 2am doing a quick LRU swap on a commuter bird before the first push, and the cannon plug wouldn't seat no matter how I lined up the keyway. Turned out one of the contacts had backed out of the shell, so I pulled the plug, found it with a flashlight and a pick, and reset it, but we ended up eating a 40 minute delay I couldn't get back. What's your go to move when a plug fights you like that, do you pull and inspect right away or keep working it first?
