Intermittent COMM system faults have me stuck
Errors show up and go away TOO fast to track. How do you pin down these gremlins?

Totally agree about the logger being a game changer. Honestly trying to catch those faults live is like chasing ghosts. What helped me was not just running the logger, but making it save everything with timestamps and error codes. Then you can go back and see if the random blips happen at the same time every day, or only when another system turns on. Tbh half the time the pattern is super obvious once you have the data written down.

Man, intermittent faults are the worst. Used to think you just had to catch them live, but that never worked. Setting up a basic logger to run all the time completely changed how I deal with this stuff. It catches those random blips so you can see the pattern, or lack of one. Total game changer for gremlins that hide when you look.

What kind of stuff does your logger track? Read something a while back about how a lot of those random blips are actually tied to temperature changes or power dips that nobody thinks to check. Makes sense why a constant log works, it catches the exact moment something in the environment shifts. Without that data you're just guessing.
