Can we talk about my neighbor getting fined for an oil change in his own yard?
The local code enforcers are handing out tickets for any car work done outside a garage. It's crazy how this targets folks who just want to fix their own stuff.

Guess we'll all need to build fancy garages just to check our tire pressure now. Next they'll fine us for having a dirty car in the driveway.

Last week in Ohio, a school bus had a tire blowout because the pressure was way too low. I used to think all this tire pressure talk was just more nanny state stuff. But seeing those kids scared on the side of the road really got to me. Now I check my tires every other week, and it takes two minutes. So maybe the idea isn't to fine us for dirty cars, but to avoid real danger. I still don't want more laws, but I get why they push for it.

Next they'll fine us for dusty windshields too.
