Appreciation post: My $300 scan tool completely bricked itself right before a big diagnostic job on a Ford F-150 last Thursday.
Had to scramble and borrow a buddy's old launch unit to find the short in the BCM, so what's the most reliable mid-range scanner you guys actually trust now?

Had one for a while. The battery life is decent but not amazing. Make sure you get the right software package for your car brand. The live data graphing is its best feature for finding weird issues.
