Dropped $85 on a "universal" filler panel and it still doesn't line up on this 2016 Civic

I bought this cheap aftermarket filler panel last week from a guy on eBay for $85, thinking I could save some cash on a front end job for a 2016 Civic. Got it in the booth, primed it, and the gaps are so bad on the passenger side that I had to grind and shim it just to get it close, plus the mounting holes were off by almost half an inch. Has anyone found a decent non-OEM brand that actually fits, or am I just eating the cost and going back to the dealer for this stuff?
