The moon through my kid's $20 telescope last Tuesday got me hooked on astro photos
Last Tuesday my daughter dragged her $20 telescope out to the driveway in Boise, and when I held my phone up to the eyepiece I could actually see craters along the edge of the moon. I spent the next hour trying to steady my hands enough to get one shot that wasn't a blurry white blob, and now I'm scrolling this community every night trying to figure out how people get those sharp stacked images. What's the cheapest camera setup you'd tell a total beginner to try?
