Had the worst luck with astrophotography last Tuesday night

I finally got a clear forecast for a change so I drove 45 minutes out to the dark sky spot near Jasper. Set everything up, did my polar alignment, got the framing perfect on the Orion Nebula. Then ten minutes into the first 3-minute sub, this random car pulls up with their high beams on and just sits there for 20 minutes. By the time they left, clouds rolled in from nowhere and I had to pack it all up after only getting 4 usable frames. Has anyone else had a perfect night ruined by one random thing like that?

One guy once left his parking brake off and his truck rolled straight through my framing.

I can just picture that truck busting through all your hard work, man. Had a buddy who spent a whole weekend building a fence and a neighbor's kid on a bike plowed right into it because they weren't looking. He was just standing there holding a two-by-four, watching the whole thing fall over...
