Rant: I found a dumb simple way to get better answers from search engines

I was trying to find a fix for a weird grinding noise on my old truck's AC compressor. I kept typing in 'grinding noise AC fix' and just got generic junk. I was about to give up. Then I remembered a thing I saw on a forum, to just talk to the search bar like you're asking a real person a full question. So I typed 'why does my 2004 Silverado AC compressor make a grinding sound only when it's hot outside'. Boom. First result was a forum thread with the exact same problem, and the fix was a $15 relay, not a $500 compressor. I've started doing this for everything now, like asking 'how do I stop my dog from barking at the mailman at 3 PM' instead of just 'dog barking'. It feels silly but it works way better. Has anyone else found a specific way to phrase stuff that actually gets you the right info?

Adding "reddit" to the end of your search usually pulls up real people with the same issue.

Wait, you mean I'm not the only one who has full conversations with the search bar? I do this all the time, especially for cooking stuff. Asking "why does my homemade bread always turn out dense" got me way better help than just "bread dense". It's like the search engines finally understand you're a person with a specific problem.
