Two Saturdays ago I had to choose between driving to my cousin's wedding in Tacoma or staying home to replace the water pump on my 2004 Silverado. I went to the wedding because my mom would not let it go. The truck blew a head gasket the next morning and cost me $1,400. What would you have done? Please tell me someone else has picked the family thing and regretted it.
