My mentor swore by wound dressings, and I'm starting to think he was wrong
He told me back in 2019 to always paint pruning cuts on oaks in Madison, but after 5 years of watching those sealed wounds hold moisture and rot from the inside, I'm wondering if leaving them bare is actually the better call, has anyone else given up on dressing cuts entirely?
