Blew $90 on a figure at a con in Denver and the box was a lie
Picked up a scale figure at the Denver con about 5 weeks ago for $90 from a booth near the back. The box showed this awesome action pose with the cape flaring out. Got it home, opened it up, and the thing only fits together in one stiff standing pose. No alternate parts, no cape stand, nothing. The promo shots on the box were clearly from a different version or a prototype. I've bought prize figures for $25 that had more posing options than this. The paint job is fine and the sculpt is clean, but I keep staring at it on my shelf feeling like I got played. Has anyone else run into box art that flat out doesn't match what's inside?
