My pinpointer died mid hunt at an old farmhouse, right as I hit a coin signal
Battery contacts rusted out on my Garrett Carrot last Sunday, three feet from the best target tone I'd heard all morning. Had to dig blind with a screwdriver for 20 minutes, finally popped out a 1944 wheat penny that was barely an inch down. Has anyone else had electronics fail at the worst possible second, or do I just have terrible luck with moisture?
