That guy at the photo lab told me to push my HP5 to 1600 for indoor shows
I figured he was just trying to sell me on a trick, but last week I shot a whole set at a basement gig and the contrast came out perfect. Has anyone else found that pushing film works better than messing with flash?

Whoa, hold on - you actually pushed HP5 to 1600 and it worked? I've been too scared to go past 800 on that stuff, figured it'd get all grainy and weird. But now you got me curious.
