Found out my local lab charges $4 per roll and I've been mailing mine to a place in Ohio for $12
Stopped by a camera shop in Tacoma last week to grab some Tri-X and the guy behind the counter mentioned they still develop color film in house. I just stared at him because I had been mailing rolls to a lab in Ohio for months at $12 a pop plus shipping. He pulled up their price list on a tablet and sure enough, it was $4.50 for a standard 35mm roll with scans. I felt so dumb standing there holding my box of film. Does anyone else have a local spot they sleep on because they just assumed everything had to go through the mail?
