Found a whole roll of 1987 vacation shots at a thrift store in Tucson

Spent $12 on an undeveloped roll of Kodacolor at a Goodwill out by the I-10, got it developed by a shop downtown, and the frames are all someone's boring camping trip but the colors are so perfect I can't stop looking at them, has anyone else ever bought mystery film just to see what's on it?
