PSA: check the little gray wheel on your walker before you blame the patient
Last Tuesday I was working with a guy 3 months out from a hip replacement at the clinic in Dayton, and he kept drifting to the left no matter how many times we cued him to walk straight. Turned out the rear wheel on his rollator was worn flat on one side, so I swapped it and he walked a straight line the whole hallway on the first pass. How many of you check the equipment before you adjust your treatment plan?
