Wireless sensors in a metal shop held up better than I thought

I always heard wireless was bad for steel buildings, but my install there has been faultless for months. It saved the client money and cut my work time in half. Why do we rule out wireless for industrial jobs so fast?

Yeah, the "stuck in our ways" thing is real. My buddy was convinced wireless would never work in his dad's car workshop, all that metal everywhere. He ran a single wireless temp sensor as a test for a freezer unit, kind of expecting it to fail. That thing has been reporting without a single dropout for almost a year now. Makes you question all the old rules we just repeat.

Seriously, I was just reading about this! A podcast mentioned how newer wireless tech uses frequencies that handle metal buildings way better. It said the old rules came from when signals were weaker and more easily blocked. Now with better designs, wireless can work in spots we used to avoid. Makes you want to test it more before saying no!

Wow, we really get stuck in our ways about tech.
