Moving to store alarms showed me how bad rush jobs can get
I took a commercial installation job after years in homes. My previous manager loved fast installs (to save money, he said). But we got a call back when a sensor failed because it wasn't tested. Now I always run the full diagnostic, even if it adds an hour. It's just better for everyone.
I mean, what if there's a situation where that way doesn't work, though? Like, say you're dealing with a really old system that can't handle the standard method. You'd have to find a workaround, right?
