Learned to preheat my air fryer the hard way at a potluck last Saturday

I brought frozen egg rolls to a neighborhood potluck and tossed them in raw without preheating. They came out soggy and uneven after 12 minutes, and I had to put them back in for another 8. Now I always run my Cosori at 400 for 3 minutes before adding food. Has anyone else messed up a batch by skipping that step?

Oh man, I did the exact same thing with some spring rolls a few months back... felt like such a rookie mistake. Now I just hit the preheat button and wait for the beep before I put anything in, makes a world of difference.
