Just learned my air fryer pulls 1500 watts, that's more than my space heater
I was reading the label on the back of my Ninja while cleaning it last night and saw it draws 1500 watts, which is the same as the little space heater I use in my garage. Now I'm wondering if I can even run it and the microwave at the same time without tripping the breaker in my 1940s apartment. Has anyone else had to actually think about their kitchen wiring before picking an air fryer recipe?
I get where you're coming from but 1500 watts is really not that wild. Most kitchen outlets are on 20 amp circuits that can handle 2400 watts, and even a 15 amp one gives you 1800. The trick is that your air fryer and microwave probably share a circuit, so yeah, running both at once could pop it. But that's true of any two heat making appliances, this isn't some special air fryer problem.
