The webinar crowd in Austin made me ditch my AI persona entirely

I gave a talk at a SXSW side event last month about AI copywriting tools. The Q&A got weird when someone asked why every AI-generated email sounds like a used car salesman on energy drinks. I had been using the same prompt template for 6 months, but after that session I stripped all the hype words out. Has anyone else had to rebuild their AI prompts from scratch after a bad live demo?
