Just got my first AI to sort through a month of tenant emails in under a minute

I used to spend a whole morning each week reading every single email from my 12-unit building in Cincinnati, trying to sort maintenance from noise complaints. Last month I tried a new AI tool that reads and groups them for me, and it flagged a leak report I'd missed. What's the best way you've found to get an AI to learn your specific sorting rules?

Nice! Honestly, the best luck I've had is just feeding it a bunch of examples first. Like, I literally copied twenty old emails and told it "these are maintenance" and "these are complaints." After that, it usually gets the hang of your weird little categories.

Oh man, my buddy tried that with his podcast notes. He gave it like ten examples of "funny moment" versus "serious point"... and now it sorts them perfectly. That brute force example thing really does work.

My old boss made us label 500 customer emails to train the new sorting tool.
