Warning: Watching lifters prioritize app feedback over muscle memory has me conflicted
Back in the day, we adjusted form based on soreness and mirrors, not algorithms. Is this new wave helping or hindering real progress?

Back in the day we used soreness and mirrors, lol. My advice? Use the app for setup, then forget it and listen to your body. You'll build better muscle memory that way.

Spot on with the old school methods. At my local gym in the early 2000s, we just went by feel. If you were sore, you knew it was working, but you also learned when to back off. These days, I see people glued to their phones tracking every rep, and they miss the point. Trusting your body beats any app every time.
