Trying to piece together timeline errors from witness statements broke my brain

I thought checking small details in old case files would be straightforward. Spent a whole evening on one statement where the witness said 'afternoon' but the sun was in the wrong place. Now I just assume everyone's memory is slightly off and move on.

Focusing on major facts is a good call, @daniel673. My own memory is so fuzzy I'd likely botch the timeline. Everything becomes a creative writing exercise in my head.

Yeah, "everyone's memory is slightly off" is the understatement of the century. @daniel673, good luck finding any major facts that aren't just creative writing.
