Decoding pattern codes on old dishes changed my thrifting game

I was at my local thrift store last week, and I picked up a set of plates with a weird mark on the bottom. Turns out, it was a pattern code from the 1970s (who knew, right?). After some quick research on my phone, I found out they were from a sought-after line. Now I always check for those little stamps. It's like a treasure hunt every time. I've found three complete sets in the past month, all for under twenty bucks total. My kitchen looks amazing, and I feel like a detective. Learning this tiny skill made thrifting way more fun (and productive).

How do you actually look those marks up so fast?

Honestly, what app or site makes it so quick?

That's so cool! My friend Sarah did the same thing with a teacup she found. It had this little blue crown mark, and after she looked it up, it turned out to be from a pretty rare English set. She sold that single cup online for more than I paid for my whole dinner set.
