The chaos was total, but my new space keeps distractions low and focus high.

Did you notice if your cat's zoomies changed patterns after the makeover? I redid my office and my dog started doing laps around the new furniture layout instead of through it, which was a weird bonus. Makes me wonder if they react to the new "race track" we build.

@blair200, my cat's zoomies now loop around the new bookshelf since we rearranged the living room last week.

Remember when my buddy moved his big armchair? His cat used to do these wild figure-eights around the old setup. After the move, the cat completely ignored the middle of the room. Now it just does tight, fast laps around the whole outside edge of the furniture, like a little furry race car. It was hilarious watching it barely miss the new bookcase every time.
