DAE get soggy fries when you're craving crispy ones?

I ordered fish and chips last night, and the fries were LIMP and greasy. It RUINS the whole meal because you expect that crunch. I ended up not finishing them, which feels like a waste. Now I'm wary of ordering fries from that place again.

Honestly, I kind of like soggy fries sometimes. They soak up all the flavors from the fish and vinegar really well. Crispy fries are great, but the soft ones feel more hearty to me.
