A neighbor's tip about walking routes got my dog home in 20 minutes
My beagle slipped out last Tuesday during a storm in Portland. I was frantic, posting flyers and calling shelters. An older neighbor, Mrs. Chen, told me he would likely follow the creek behind our street, not the main roads. I walked that muddy path and found him under the old footbridge, soaked but safe. Has anyone else had luck with thinking about where a scared pet would naturally hide instead of just circling the block?
