I stumbled upon a simple trick for mixing vocals at home

I mean, I was messing around with my home recordings and the vocals just weren't popping. Idk, I found this free reverb plugin online and it totally changed the mix. Maybe it's just me, but what do you guys use for vocal effects?

Tell me which reverb plugin you grabbed. Too much reverb kills vocal clarity in home studios. What settings made your vocals pop?

My buddy Kyle uses Valhalla Room with a 1.2 second decay to keep his vocals clear.

My vocals usually sound like they're singing from a cave... too much reverb, I guess.
