That Portuguese cliff town everyone recommends? It's lost its magic.

I see so many posts calling Sagres a peaceful alternative to Lagos... but during my visit, the main beach was swamped with people. The local cafes had lines out the door, and the prices were jacked up for tourists. It just doesn't feel authentic when you're fighting for a spot to watch the sunset.

Wondering if the bigger issue is locals getting priced out. Saw a few "for sale" signs last time and heard the market now closes weird hours because workers can't afford to live nearby anymore.
