Honestly read this article about how barbers and taxi drivers have the best intel. They talk to everyone all day. My buddy got a tip from his barber for a tiny record store in a basement, place was amazing. Those offhand suggestions just hit different because they're not trying to sell you anything. It's just pure, local word of mouth.
