Vent: This highly rated speaker's Bluetooth is not reliable for me
I trusted the reviews that said the connection was solid. In my place, it cuts out if I'm more than a few feet away, which is just not practical.

What are they testing these things on, a perfect empty room? My speaker works great if I stand right next to it holding my phone perfectly still... but god forbid I want to, I don't know, walk to the fridge for a soda. The connection drops like it's offended by kitchen tile.

You say it cuts out a few feet away. Is it actually unusable or just annoying? Maybe your phone is in a bad spot, like a pocket. It probably still works fine most of the time.

Yeah, and that's the thing with a lot of tech now. The specs and reviews make it sound like it works perfect in a lab, but then your actual house with walls and other wifi stuff turns it into a joke. It's all just getting shinier while the basic stuff, like staying connected, gets worse. Makes you wonder what they're even testing half the time.
