Actually, the recycled plastic probably isn't what's making it overheat (that's usually the electronics inside). Sounds like you just got a badly made charger, which is super annoying.

Doubt it's a huge deal. My charger gets warm sometimes but still works fine. People freak out over every little thing with electronics.
