My retro gaming session crashed thanks to a dead save battery

Fired up the SNES for some Paladin's Quest. The save battery was toast. Whole file gone. Really bugs me how flimsy those old saves were. What forgotten games did this to you guys?

EarthBound's battery died on me last year, brutal.

Replaced the battery in my SNES cart with a fresh CR2032 (had to dig out my soldering iron, but it wasn't too bad). Now I back up saves to my computer whenever I can.

Chrono Trigger got me like that once. Lost a near perfect file, all those side quests done. Just turned into a fancy paperweight until I fixed it. Felt pretty bad, idk.
