The $1.25 hot glue gun that outlasted my $40 name brand one
Bought a glue gun at Dollar Tree last spring for a quick wreath fix. My fancy one from the hardware store died after 6 months of light use. This cheap orange thing has run for 2 years now, maybe 300 projects. Read the box while waiting in line. It's made in the same factory as the big brands, just different plastic shell. Weirdest part, the trigger feels better than my old one. Anyone else have a dollar store tool that just refuses to quit?

Did you check if the trigger mechanism is metal under that plastic shell?
