My neighbor showed me a trick for a loose PS4 HDMI port

I was about to give up on my PS4 after the screen kept cutting out. My neighbor, who fixes phones, came over and said 'let me see that board.' He took a tiny bit of solder and put it on the port's pins to make them thicker, then heated it just enough to stick. It worked perfect for six months now. Has anyone else tried this fix for a wobbly port?

My buddy had the same exact problem with his console. His cousin, who messes with old radios, did something similar... just added a tiny bit more solder to each little pin. He said it was like giving the connector more to grab onto. That was over a year ago and it's still holding strong.

Man, that's such a classic fix, right? I've heard of a few people doing that with old game consoles too. Glad it worked out for you.
