Vent: That injector swap on a 6.0 Powerstroke took me 13 hours

I figured I could knock out an injector job on a 2005 F-250 in a single Saturday. Three days later I was still fighting with the dummy plugs and standpipes that were corroded to hell. The real killer was the passenger side head bolt that snapped off because someone before me overtorqued it. Ended up having to drill and tap the block in the truck bed because I didnt have a lift. Has anyone else run into hidden rust issues that added a whole day to a simple job? What do you use to prevent those bolts from seizing?

Hang on, you drilled and tapped the block in the truck bed? That's wild. I would have just given up and called a wrecker.

Never mind the block getting drilled, what about the bed bolts? I bet that truck's got a few extra pounds of rust holding them in place. Guess he found out the hard way if the whole bed shifted on him.
